This unique paper comes to you from an ancient tradition of Nepal paper making, using no chemicals, pounded with hand, washed in Himalayan springs, and dried in the sun. It is made entirely of plant materials specifically the Lokta plant, which grows in the altitude between 7000 to 9000ft. Unlike wood pulp, which requires many acres of land, Lokta plants are simply pruned every year for paper production. Hence it is environmentally friendly.
